Research
Overview:
Faculty
and graduate students affiliated with the UNCG Sport and
Exercise Psycholgy program are engaged in research that covers a wide
range of topics and areas. Several larger projects have been funded
through granting agencies, and other projects develop from student and
faculty interests. Recent research projects include: psychological skills
of Olympic athletes, life skills development in youth football programs,
physical activity and quality of life among older adults, cultural
competence in physical activity settings, and exercise with breast cancer
survivors.
