Through the course of the semester, we have reviewed evidence that suggests psychology can be conceptualized as a unified science. We have also reviewed evidence that suggests psychology is a distributed (divided) science. This assignment asks for you to argue for either the unified or distributed nature of psychology. That is, you should give your opinion about whether psychology can be viewed as a unified discipline or whether it is a distributed discipline. Your response to this issue should use arguments from the history of psychology and any material covered in class. You must convince me that have a strongly supported position on the nature of the science of psychology.
